Sao/Tenjin Joint?

So… does anyone have any advice on how to best cut/shape the joint of the Sao/Tenjin? I have a bit of exp. with making instruments with jigs for table saws, jig saws, not so much by hand saws.

A link to a “how-to” would be nice… seems I can make a decent joint with a little wood filler, but I would like to do much better!

You could get quite close using a jig saw, but to get a very tight and clean joint, using a combination of files and blades is quite necessary, I think. That, and time! :slight_smile:

I used a hand saw for metal and files. The blade is very thin and u get a very clean cut.
