This Mathematica utility just pulls stuff from wikipedia. The wiki entry for shamisen has “The virtuosic Tsugaru-jamisen style is sometimes compared to bluegrass banjo”.
I appreciate that “used” has a relatively high ranking on the font size.
Mystery demystified – the term “used” appears 33 times in the wikipedia article, “shamisen” 102, “giyadu” 8, and “bluegrass” 4. It looks like font size reflects the frequency of occurrence of the word. The term “used” seems to mean “employed, serves as…” and not “used” as in “do I have to keep wearing my older brothers’ used clothes?”. Hopes that helps.
