Hello,

Working as a guitar maker in France (http://la-petite-chignole.blogspot.com/), I always have been passionned by the Japanese culture and of course shamisen. Today I am looking for any traditional workshop in any country (working on Japanese stringed instruments) who might have opening up that would be appropriate for someone with my qualifications. Even for an apprentice contract.

That’s why I am asking you all, does anyone know any traditional workshop specialized in stringed instruments ?

I don’t know about Japanese instruments but Crimson guitars seems to be growing. Maybe hes looking for a like minded luthier. He’s very old school. Using handmade tools and everything.
