I just surprised Kyle by pointing out that the Shamisen of Japan > Book Owners page (shamisenofjapan.com/corrections) is still active. The rest of the old site redirects to bachido.com.
I’ve submitted several “Shamisen of Japan” errors to Kyle. I’ve come across numerous other nits, ambiguities and oversights, which I haven’t bothered to report. Lest this seem overly critical, Kyle has responded amazingly quickly to items that have come to his attention - often overnight.
Anyway, I’d like to suggest a new Forum category (e.g. “Book Owners”) for discussions specifically related to the content of the “Shamisen of Japan” book. This would undoubtedly benefit the “Global Community”, if only to reassure people that they aren’t the only ones who were puzzled over something. I have no doubt that Kyle would respond with online book updates and improvements to future editions.
