Shamisen skinning Methods

Hello! I’m really confused about how I will skin my shamisen.
I’m planning to make one, but the skinning thing is making things complicated.

I don’t have a skinning machine like this one, so usual skinning would me impossible.

I thought about skinning with tackles, like in this image:

The shamisen’s skin in the video was put with tackles. Will this affect the skin tension somehow?

If you look around, you may be able to find images of older instruments that are skinned with tacks - last year, someone posted this image

However, I have no idea how it sounds.

it shouldn’t be too different from the usual skinning.
