I want to buy a gottan and a kankara kit, but I’m unsure how well it would travel(being shipped) to Norway.
I’m assuming the items ship from America so I am also a bit concerned about the shipping costs, it would be very counterproductive if it costs more to get the items shipped here than the items themselves.

Excellent question! Items are shipped direct from Japan. Shipping is very expensive and unfortunate that shipping can sometimes be more than the actual value of the items themselves.
Due to the size, shipping for instruments is 15000 yen. Really high costs for shipping, but there’s nothing we can do about that. Shipping anything to/from Japan is very costly.
