Hi everyone, I ask you for some advice: I recently started playing the shamisen and I don’t know how to solve a noise problem: in some notes the shamisen emits a shrill sound and I don’t know if it’s a construction problem or a koma problem or not I know what, I would like to have a cleaner sound but even by moving the koma I can’t get it, I hope you can help me

An important part of shamisen’s sound is sawari - a droning noise produced by resonance between the strings.
If your sawari is not properly configured, you will have an extremely unpleasant sound.
Alternatively, over-tuning can cause very unpleasant sounds. If your fingering is off, you may also produce odd noises (which are sometimes used for specific effect!)
