Many many months after Alessandro won the nuSwag challenge, it was finally time to design the new Bachido shirt with his creation! And here we go!
I must say, I love the brown and pink combination, and think that if the lines on the tenjin were a little darker, it would be ready to release on Bachido.
Before that, a little more work may need to be done on the front side. I do like the mon in front, but perhaps it should be 33% smaller and have the “Bachido” title underneath it? Also, perhaps the mon should be solid white?
These are just my thoughts. Let me know what YOU think. With your help, we’ll finalize an awesome shirt for everyone to be amazed with!
The back looks great, but I agree that the front is missing something somehow. It feels a bit empty, I think.
I like the idea of it being smaller and white. Putting “Bachido” beneath it might look better too. Also, what if it were off-set and placed on a particular side instead of centered? Just a thought.
I’ll give the front some thoughts and come back with an opinion. Don’t forget to let a big breasted woman try it out. Just like last time, we don’t want any prints being stretched out.

The upper left is the original (3.5"D logo), upper right is shrunk (2.75"D logo). Both lower images have the same shrunken logo/mon. The ‘bachido’ text of the lower left is slightly shrunken more than the right.
Personally, I like the lower right one, but let me know your thoughts, or other ideas!
Looking good! I definitely like the lower right one better.
I do have one suggestion, though. Since the back is pink and white, perhaps the “Bachido” text on the front should also use the pink sakura texture? I also like BH’s suggestion above to move the entire back design up a bit more.
Kyle, when do you expect new Bachido t-shirts to be available? Might you be bringing some to the festival in Sapporo? It would be just in time for the forecasted Sapporo cherry blossom blooming date of May 3 (http://www.jnto.go.jp/sakura/eng/index.php). Will Nitta san be getting a supply to sell in Japan?
Sadly, I will not be attending the festival – I’m hoping to experience it vicariously through Celia.
Hey Dan, I’ll be releasing the new shirt on Spreadshirt either today or tomorrow. (Busy day today, so most likely would be this evening) Unfortunately, I don’t really know of any good sources to buy them in bulk, so at this point, they can only be ordered on demand by the customer.
Speaking of swag and Nitta san, he is ordering 50 Bachido Happi (which we’ll be wearing at the taikai this year). That will certainly be available for all in Sapporo. I’m sure Celia will love it! (Hope so)

Pink. Not just for ladies anymore! This amazing shirt was designed in Switzerland by Bachido member Alessandro Zecca. The back features the silhouette of a shamisen tenjin behind a circle of falling ume pedals. The front sports the full Bachido Mon placed directly over the heart, satisfying everyone’s desire to feel like Iron Man!
