Howdy folks! Man, though it’s only been a few days, it feels like forever since I’ve been on the forum! It’s just been a super-productive time with the legendary Kevin Kmetz back in his other-hometown of Santa Cruz!

good waves but it kinda got chilly after more than an hour without a wetsuit in late september when I was there in like the 90s 
also I happened to diss the surfing calendar and bought a copy of “Stoked” at the lighthouse surfing museum instead as a souvenir and it happened to become my favorite book I highly recommend it (by Bill Morris) I took it with me on a lot of occasions snowboarding, south african beaches and eventually gave it away to a friend who got to surfing more often . . . and then I wanted to have a copy again and it being out of print I managed to contact the author who sent me 2 copies one of them autographed to austria free of charge . . .
awesome that’s completely awesome that you are recording the taxi song I thought about asking but the last thing I wanted was to come across as pushy or whatever so thanks in advance . . . as for our taxi calendar I hear it will have a lot of pictures this year for the first time to be spiced up like that and I might even be on the calendar myself I don’t know if that would be something to look forward to but anyway you will get to see the calendar I guess early december should be the time to finally send you guys a little thank you package . . .

Hey Sea Shamisen! Kevin went out busking earlier today. Unfortunately, he will be leaving Santa Cruz tomorrow, but does have plans to return in the future!
Yesterday, Kevin joined us in an Abbott Brothers gig. As you can see, he’s in full Abbott regalia, and was made an honorary Abbott Brother for the day. 
It was a great honor to play with and as an Abbott Bro! That was a fantastic show! Thanks for having me as a guest performer! Can’t wait to see what you do with all the new video material we created this week!
