Everyone! This is an important Kickstarter for the upcoming Monsters of Shamisen CD!

Please check it out! Anything will help tremendously, and even more, share this with your friends who’d be interested in this project.

In fact, I will stress the importance that this gets around to all our friends and even their friends. If everyone we know knows of this kickstarter, we can easily achieve this goal with little investment by all!

We are such a tight-knit and awesome community, and I know that if we all think of this as our Bachido duty, we can totally nail this fundraiser with cash to pay back loans for the studio mixing and everything needed to make this album possible!

I tried to enter in payment of Amazon, but sorry it is so troublesome to me with a lot of procedure and reading a lot of regulation in English. Is there any simpler way, say, like when buying Bachido T shirt?

I love Kickstarter and have backed 14 projects so far. The payment with Amazon works flawlessly. With Kickstarter they only help out with the payment, nothing else.

The campaign needs to reach the funding requirement, otherwise no money will be taken from your account.

Bros!! Thank you so so much! I’ve received several lovely donations from several members already! Yesterday I was quite nervous but I’m feeling a bit more optimistic now. I think we just might be able to make this happen! :smiley:

Yeah Karl, Kickstarter is really awesome! We’ve helped out some great local talent that way in funding their tours and new albums.

Kyoko: Hmm, that is curious. May I ask, have you bought anything using Amazon before? As Karl said, the payment is done with Amazon, so it should work exactly the same way. I know you want to support, so I’ll try to help as much as I can. :slight_smile:

And Kyle, I really thank for your understanding and every single effort you are making! Gosh, I missed the chance to examine your latest hand made Shamisen at Hirosaki meeting. It was because just so busy and nervous on Kita no Hibiki performance which I still cannot play well.

Anyway, Amazon failure can be maybe because of my being drunk and impatience. Will try again, thanks all!

It’s interesting how so many Bachido members use this forum when they’re drunk. Karl, Sid, BH, you and I’m certain many others. :wink: Actually, right now so am I! (just had a tall beer with Grant Shamisensation Reimer) I guess Bachido is conducive to drinking… or maybe the other way around. :wink:

Usually I don’t drink a single drop during the week cause the long working hours make catching enough sleep difficult enough and i have noticed that even one beer in the evening makes me even more tired the next morning so i stick to coffee throughout the working week or in other words unfortunately i can only drink on the weekends . . .

Cocktails? A long time ago but i also like whiskey straight so with that being considerably less of an effort AND a whiskey going well on the side with coffee too . . . :slight_smile:

I meant coffee and alcohol as you would either get the best of two worlds, or the worst :slight_smile: I don’t like to mix my coffee with alcohol myself. Thought the mix could be the perfect solution for you.

at least as for good coffee like Illy or Bachido I don’t usually mix that with anything so it would be whiskey on the side . . . sometimes I am in the mood for a cappuchino or mocha though and can also enjoy an alcoholic irish coffee or iced coffee with vanilla ice . . . usually though I drink coffee black without sugar I often need to confirm a coffee to go order by saying “. . . no thanks, just the coffee” . . . :slight_smile:

Man, whiskey. I used to drink that with Papa. However, for some odd reason, the smell now makes me shiver. I’m not sure why. I imagine that it happened after I got deathly sick from overdrinking tequila at the Tequila Jam two years ago. However, that was tequila, not whiskey. I can still drink tequila, just not whiskey. Go figure :-S

Eric: Nope, there will also be physical CDs. :slight_smile: Because most in America prefer MP3s and people in Japan prefer physical CDs, Nitta san will be having them printed there. I’d like to stock physical copies here, but can’t afford to stock 1000.

What about higher quality digital downloads? I like to archive all of my music as FLAC, which is why I usually opt for physical CD’s, but don’t care too much about the physical copy. I’m pretty obsessive about it though.

You and my brother. :wink: I think CDBaby will be able to allow FLACs, but I’ll try to make sure that happens.
