Haven’t got all the terminology down yet…
As I’m moving forward getting this nagauta shamisen set up, I’m presently sorting out koma sizing. At the base of the sao where it meets the dou, what is a typical or reasonable string height off the sao where the strings head out over the dou? If this were a guitar or a banjo it would not be an issue for me, but don’t know what is “normal” on a shamisen. Thanks.
