Hello! After looking around shamisen string vendors I notice nowhere lists any measurements or rough estimates for how much force the strings apply to the top. For guitars and basses (my home territory) this is often listed by string manufacturers in kg or lb.
Does anyone know much force is applied to the top by the strings on a shamisen? Exact weight would be best, but a general comparison to something like a guitar would also be very helpful. Thanks to everyone in advance.
