so i really like those hard cases for shamisen. especialy the one for mitsuori type neck. however i can’t find alot of them. so… would it be possible to customize this case: https://www.briefcase.com/tz-case-aluminum-briefcase-package-case-pkg18/ to hold a shamisen? and any tips on how to best go about it doing this?

When I was making a custom case to carry my drones, I used precut foam inserts like these (but I think I got them from ebay for cheap) …

But you can also DIY your own specific cutouts …
If the shamisen can fit in it, any case can be shamified! 
I remember a local shamisen student of Kevin’s had modified a bazooka case to fit two shamisen side by side. Never asked him what he did with the bazooka.
