Thanks all! Yeah, I had a hard time deciding between the same color or diversity. Of course, same color promotes an image of unity, though various colors promotes an image of… well, fun and openness?
Both had positive aspects, so I asked Nitta san’s opinion. He was really supportive of the multi-colors, so we went with that.

yeah well this was a surprise to me actually when I saw the actual shirts in the clip . . . I thought oh cool and then I thought amazing I would have lobbyied for one color before the fact and now I love the freshness of color diversity I guess Masahiro’s imagination is better than mine . . . a matter of taste of course anyway both ways to go would have been good enough for sure . . . damn I figure an austrian flag would look quite okay too on one of those shirts haha I would have about 2 days of practice on a shamisen I guess not to mention not having the money to get there . . . well maybe next time . . .

The irony is that most super-serious Japanese wannabes tend to avoid other gaijin like the plague.

And Hirosaki Taikai committee and Japanese audience will definitely be so pleased to see Bachido group play!! Taikai committee cite page some years ago said "We welcomed a lot of foreign players and our Taikai is becoming international. " Written tone looked very happy.

Whenever we run into other gaijin at the tournaments (especially if they aren’t there playing Shamisen) it gets really awkward for some reason. Kevin and I have seen this happy a lot; it’s some strange phenomenon.
