After 8 years of searching… I got it. This past summer, some dear friends of mine in Tokyo finally found a Shamisen for me (not that they are uncommon of course) but as missionaries, funds are limited! They found one that had the skin damaged. It was built in 1944… and I couldn’t be more proud. Thank you Jessica for doing the repair and getting me hooked up! I’m so thrilled!!!
