Hello friends and fellow Bachido members! I have some Great News to share with all of you. At 10:00 pm (Japatime) Feb. 19th 2015. (just about 3 and 1/2 hours ago.) I had the tremendous honor of welcoming my daughter to Planet Earth. Sofie Sakamoto Kmetz is now an official member of the human race.
Kumiko is doing very well too! She and I arrived at the hospital at just about 9:05 pm and in less than an hour our daughter was born.
It’s hard to find the right words but I’ll just say that I feel incredibly blessed and very proud and honored!
I’ll post some pics soon! Anyway, just wanted to share that with all my Bachido friends!
Congrats! That’s awesome!
Kevin id like to congratulate you from the bottom of my heart! My bachi broke during that time. Im a bit drunk now but id say the energy of all the notes ive played with it were sacrificed to the life force of your child! At least id like to think so!
Oooh! Congratulations Kevin! You’ll be sure to teach her to play shamisen someday eh?
Wahoooo!!! Heartiest congratulations! I pray that she has inherited your hair style! May she have millions of rebirths like you have had!
Wow, only an hour of labor is one hell of a fast birth! That must be signs of a shredder!
But I do believe we must turn our attention to Karl Hedlund, who selflessly sacrificed his only bachi, shattering it against the ground to unleash all the soul power built up in the plectrum, releasing it all into Sofie, intermingling it with her DNA so that one day she will become the multi-cultured ShamiMessiah we have been waiting for!!! Way to go, Karl!!
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!
Congrats, bro!
