Take vacation!

Woooooooooooooooo. Excited.

Awesome.

God i love these videos  i laughed quite a bit watching this. UNTIL I FOUND MYSELF THERE! And it felt epic <3

And i’m a member!

Boom! Just got notified of your new membership! Welcome aboard, Ortjo. Prepare to get schooled! :stuck_out_tongue:

Sweet! Judging by the new forum badges, everyone here is an Intensive member!

I don’t think it’s that important, but just an FYI, no badges show up on ios, as far as I can tell.

Oh, also, I remember seeing somewhere to post our questions/etc, but I am unable to find it right meow,
So I figured I would throw it here:

I would love to see an intermediate video about how to add a little more 味 to the 三味線. How to add a little more taste to the flavourful strings! Like some heightened hajiki-ing, and some stylish suberi.

Having said that, a video about developing your own flavourful jongara would be epic as well. Something expanding on Kevin’s incredible article with all of the videos on the pieces that make up jongara bushi.
It would be nice to see some detail on how to get the most out of the thundering ichi no ito section, or some great licks to build on to fatten up middle sections.

Amazing.
I’m so coming out of retirement for this.
The video was hilarious!

Exciting times! Grant coming out of retirement! My life has new meaning!!!

Travis: Ooh, thanks for letting me know. I’ll ask Luke about that.

I’m gonna make a forum category where people can post suggestions/questions for future lessons. Initially, we thought about having Schoolhouse communication only done on the Schoolpage, but the forum is so convenient.

Oh woa! I didn’t even see the comments on the videos! Thanks Travis, Lorraine, and Anthony! I’ll let Mike know, and we’ll respond soon!

How to add a little more taste to the flavourful strings! Like some heightened hajiki-ing, and some stylish suberi.

Got it! That’s a great topic for a lesson. Let’s kick it up a notch! bam! I’ll start planning it out today!

Yeah, Kevin! Delving into flavorful jonkara arrangements would be great! I’m better at making drills, but I’ll see if I can give some ideas on phat jongara phrases!

Whoa ho ho!! Ohisashiburi Grant!! Welcome back, welcome back!

The intro video is hilarious!

So, I’m not quite clear on how this works. Are the videos live-stream only? Or are they accessible for a certain period for those with membership? Can you go back to review?

Eric! Get up here to Aomori! Seriously ! Where are you? I keep stopping by the train stations, bus stops and local Airport but you haven’t showed up yet! Dammit! I can only keep re-heating the guest room so many times man!

Eric. The videos are not Live-stream. They are kind of like the courses.
I have a similiar question as Eric… actually a few: When new courses come to bachido school house does the old ones go? Or will there be an archive of the old videos? Are you allowed to download these videos?

And if the old videos will be replaced with new ones there should be a timer like “7 days 5 hours remaining!”

They should never disappear. You guys worked hard on planning, editing and uploading the webinars, they should stay in the schoolhouse library (see what I did there?) That would be most wonderful for all!

Excellent question, dudes!

Yes, as Ortjo said, they are like the courses. And for Intensive members, all videos are archived and viewable anytime! Repeat them as much as you want, anytime you want.

Exactly, Travis! They’re all gems! Besides, we instructors need to be able to view them too, so we don’t accidentally repeat the same content. :stuck_out_tongue:

Schoolhouse library! That’s a good idea!

Eric, you haven’t visited Kevin yet? May I ask why?

Seriously…
