Apparently a few years back, Jimmy Page was on a morning show where he tried out a shamisen. Haven’t been able to find video unfortunately but the principle is there 
there’s also footage floating around of him doing an interview on the same show at the same time as Hiromitsu Agatsuma, which I also haven’t been able to find lol. But figured I’d share, and if anyone does have that footage I’d love to see haha

Not gonna lie, but after I turned my shamisen to DAD niagari it’s very close to a DADGAD guitar tuning so I found myself playing around with Kashmir pretty quickly.
