Tokyo/Morioka contacts?

I’m leaving for Japan in two weeks…5 days in Morioka visiting in-laws and the rest in Tokyo for the same, plus friends and lots of day trips. Any shamisen connections would be welcomed. I’m thinking of searching for a new bachi.

Thanks!

Will

I recommend Kameya Shop in Setagaya (Just a five minute walk from the Gotokuji station) https://goo.gl/maps/gEMEedBLK1J2

And if you’re going to be around Yokohama, Niki Shamisen Shop in Hodogaya is also great (about a 12 minute walk from Hodogaya station, but prepare for a good hike up some steep stairs and through neighborhoods.) https://goo.gl/maps/CRjb3HEqTT72
