Here is a new video of me playing Path of the Wind by Joe Hisaishi. What a Nostalgic song…
Here is also another random video of me playing Tsugaru Jinku on my new camera.
Enjoy and tell me what you think of my new camera ^^

Nice playing Stev! I think the camera was good too. Did you set the focus at the distance where you are? It felt like it could be a little bit sharper with the right settings. Sound was good!
Im new with this camera so I need to figure out some things >
Cool video Steve! The camera looks good, and the location is really suteki.
The sound is also quite good. Is it the camera’s mic, or do you have an external mic attached? (we need to use external mics) What’s the model/make?
Hey that’s great, makes me want to watch the film again
Although I love tsugaru pieces, ‘cause I’ve got a nagauta shami’ I’d love to learn a few more slower pieces like this. Will Kyle add any info for nagauta players?
Hey steve that was great. I loved your Tsugaru Jinku, camera seems good too!
Jude: It may be a little while, as I don’t know much about nagauta style. But it will definitely be something to add in the future.
Actually for this I had to record separately to sync it up with audio.
Ah, I see. What model is it? The video quality looks great.
Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!
Steve, your playing sounds great man! Forgive me for being ignorant of Totoro but was there a Shamisen in the original track or was that all you? Either way sounds really cool.
I just taught Tsugaru jinku to Anne so it is even cooler to hear you play that one as well.
Kyle: Sorry I’ve been calling it a camera this whole time XD. Its actually a camcorder. The model is Sony HDR CX-210. I got it for realllly cheap online
Kevin: Totoro does not have any shamisen in its soundtrack. I love adding Shamisen to its soundtrack because it creates a mystical quality to it. You should try learning one of the Totoro songs ^^
Also, I trimmed the Tsugaru Jinku clip because it was a bit redundant.
Steve,
I might do that (learn something from Totoro). Thanks again for sharing. I definitely hear something great in your playing. I will be sending Mike Penny a package soon and have an extra yubikake for ya which I will toss in there.
Hey Stev, sorry to bring this thread back up (I’m playing catch-up right now), but does your t-shirt say SRK as in shoryuken.com? Are you in the FGC?
yes i was part of the FGC.
played mostly SSFIV AE, and uMVC3. ^^
I might even be going to Evo this year:D
haha that’s sick dude! god I wish i could go to EVO, never been! if you go, tell me how it is! spots are filling up quick though; might want to get on that if you haven’t reserved yet.
Yep already signed up!! excited.
Yay!! Ki&Ki
We watched them live at the first ever bachido gathering last weekend!
Amazing. Love them.
I was in a sweaty studio with two dudes playing shamisen and you guys were outside with two hot babes play shamisen!
Oh, the humanity!
