i have buyed a Nagauta shamisen of 1980. I would ask if there are dangers to play the tsugaru style on it, like, can the skin break? Or are there other problems?

Not actually if you are very gentle to it.
Takahashi Chikuzan used a skin as like as nagauta,and played tsugaru freely.
