Oh man, that is a great sounding banjo, John. Even from youtube quality sound, it’s very resonant.
This inspires me to start playing my old time repertoire on shamisen again! Got out of the routine a few months ago and hard to get back on the horse.

Thanks John, that was beautiful. Bluegrass, and the earlier Appelacian music saved by Mose Asch and the New Lost City Ramblers; have a soulful presence that the Shamisen will blend with beautifully. Please record some after you get your Shamisen.

I can’t imagine how with all of the other irons you have in the fire. What are you going to give up? Eating…sleeping? You are a remarkable man. Thanks for all that you do.
