We have a Bachido special for international Bachido members! Last year, Reigen Fujii released a very cool album called Verdancy, featuring shamisen blended perfectly in a Jazz ensemble, as well as solo tsugaru shamisen pieces. Hearing shamisen expertly paired with Jazz is something you don’t hear often, and it’s exciting to hear it in Verdancy! Fujii san and his fellow musicians did a great job of combining their talents and instruments to make this groovy musical meal.

Because Verdancy is not available for download, nor is it easy to get this album from an english website, Fujii san has sent me a box of 10 CDs, just so Bachido members have the opportunity to enjoy this album. This album is yours to enjoy for 2000 yen!

I fully support Reigen Fujii. I was totally blown away with his unique style and of course especially with what he does with chords! I’ve had a copy of Verdancy for a while. I’m going to go dig it out now and give it a proper listen ! A Fantastic new talent in the Shamisen world though! Really glad to see him getting more involved with Bachido!

I coughed up the cash somehow even though I just moved to a new flat a couple of days ago and had and am having some expenses in the course of that too … what can i say though for the first time i feel like it’s actually worth working for the rent and to have that place … and that cd also seems like the perfect background music for having a coffee and of course my pleasure to hereby extend come over for a coffee invitations to bachido members … :slight_smile:
