I was wondering if there was a online site/shop (that excepts PayPal) - that sold Itomaki(s) separately
Well, i don’t think so. In sanshin shops you can find karakui(itomaki) sold separately,because it breaks quickly. But Shamisen itomaki is made from REALLY HARD material,so it shouldn’t break,that’s why no one sells itomaki separately.
Anyways, if you broke your itomaki or anything,you can ask a manufacturer to make some for you,or ask Kyle,he might be able to talk to Nitta Masahiro and get and itomaki or more for you!
Ah, though they are expensive, you can buy itomaki separately, but they need to be professionally (or at least, someone with skill) fitted in. They are sold as “blanks”, where the end has to be rounded to fit into the tenjin.
where do I find the blanks? Any idea?
