I also feel that it could be played at a slower tempo for more feeling.
Hm, from the start I’ve always had it at this speed (I like the drive of it), but feel free to record your own slow version and show me otherwise.
I tried it out today during practice and I think it sounded good! Haven’t learned it properly yet but what do you think about making your piece switch between different tempos? It is an easy way of creating diversity.
At last I was able to sit down and try out some ideas.
Hopefully it’s not too noisy, (multiple shamisen playing many different note-filled parts could get a little cacophonous) I can always make it more sparse.
