Does anyone know why most of the Yoshida Brother’s albums aren’t available for sale or stream? They’re even missing from Domo Music Group’s store. Only Ibuki and Move are for sale. I’m assuming there’s some sort of nasty legal business going on with licensing, but I’d love to know when/if they’re coming back. I think this happened within the last year because I was able to legally steam all of their music. Now I need to track down physical CD’s.
Interesting . Although I’m admittedly not a “Huge” fan I still don’t recall any obvious reason why their CDs should be pulled. Did they cover they shouldn’t have I wonder?
Oooh snap. I love a good scandal! I’m not sure, but could it be possible that when Mike and I covered Kodo/Rising at the JapanFest, Domo Music realized how much better we sounded? So much that they had no choice but to replace the original brothers with us? Granted, neither Mike nor I have yet to be contacted with an offer to cover their entire collection for re-release, but it’s still an incredibly valid theory, if I do say so myself!
