also kyle D:!! you must try it atleast once… go to a starbucks and ask for it ;^; please
Well, across the street from the local Starbucks is the local sweets store (Marinis) and I’d rather go there and get a milkshake.
I mean,
wow… I should stop taking days off from the forum lol
Haha! I manage to take every other day off, and even then I still feel swamped when I come back.
Ok, well I just picked up the Hakama today and so Ill try and get photos soon.
Awesome!!
Can’t way to see pics! It’ll make good discussion in the Bachido Meeting next week.
It took about 2 days to find the right fabric, and one day from morning till night to make the inner kimono, outer kimono, and hakama.
That’s not too bad, really. Had you previous sewing experience before?
I made a Karate dogi (about the same time I was making the first shamisen) which took about two months… Four layers of 12oz canvas in the french fell seam. I sure broke a lot of needles.
@Kyle - no need to “convert” me, I do drink and enjoy coffee (not espresso, and I prefer a mild but flavourful and bright one), but tea is my preference
Ah, but can tea lengthen your lifespan? http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150973303451716&l=854316809b
Frankly, I was sold on espresso for the fact that it’s so awesome, but this seals the deal.
Truth be told, I like tea as well. In fact, I intend to start drinking Maccha during the day. (Hey, maybe it can be “whisked” with the espresso machine’s steam wand! :-D)
I agree with Kyle. Keep everything but rich coffee flavor OUT of my coffee!
I love you Karl! <3
You don’t need sugar to enjoy coffee. The first step is to just keep away from sleeping, and this is pretty easy right?
As much as I agree with this personally, Luke and Mama need to have a little. Papa and I were kinda surprised with Mama especially. She’s been drinking decaf coffee (with milk/sugar) for years, but she winced after sipping a very light and fresh coffee. Luke needs enough milk and sugar to drown out the coffee flavor.
The taste for bitterness is somewhat acquired (even the best coffee is slightly bitter, just not recognizable for one who’s acquired a taste for it). As Papa says, animals are naturally repulsed by bitterness (which is associated with poison in the wild), so most humans would naturally be the same, unless trained to like it. (I sure pushed myself)
