Well I did indeed get to see my new female friend again. I even wrote her a song and recorded it in the studio just now. I won’t be seeing her again for a while it seems (she promised to write to me and call but it’s not the same ya know…) But I must say it is somewhat of an honor to know that apparently I just broke her ten year cycle as a lesbian. Maybe she mistook me for a woman cause of the long hair. Whatever… I’m going to miss her when I leave tomorrow, that’s for sure. Love can be so bittersweet sometimes.
Oh Damn! … Sorry folks! But wait. This story actually does have significance to The new bachido CD because now there is an extra additional tune which was unplanned and even unwritten until the last day of recording. Not sure what to title it yet but well, at least you guys will know there is a story behind this little extra tune thrown in at the last minute. I hope Kyle Abbott will approve cause he was already on the plane back to the states when I began writing it so I wasn’t able to consult him. I’m sure he won’t mind, though.

Thanks Cana. Kyle is probably still resting from his big travel but I am sure he will start putting some more stuff up soon. It’s been great to be able to share this last week with everyone up here and report about the recording and even… Other stuff. It’s fun to hear the stories from you as well. About your travels with the Shamisen. It’s kind of like we are all part of a story that’s happening simultaneously in different parts of the world. cool stuff!

will be moving into new house in 6 days… my new roomate i already converted into a shami enthusiest and he wants one… i am probably going to make his first shamisen in a trade for a laptop xD
also my bf is wanting to play shamisen… he hasnt touched his guitars in years (first he touched them was when he took them out of the box for christmas way before he knew me… and last week when we were cleaning the room lol)
BUT! hes seen me practice next to him continuously for 4 days and he is interested
