Sorry for this… But I feel really corny right now what with the winter solstice/ planetary alignment /beginning of a new universal cycle upon us, so I thought I’d post something different here.
I apologize to all my Japanese friends as these conform to my Western knowledge of syllables and not the traditional Japanese on.
They are also not very good, and they may not contain all the elements you would expect from haiku, but… Well I don’t really care.
The first two are a classic 5-7-5 syllable structure and the third is an unorthodox 6-8-5 syllable structure.
1.How my heart leaps now!
The sound of the shamisen
And friends like these here
2.Heavens unity
Hear the three taste strings ring forth
All as it should be
3.And who can tell you friend?
Where end begins, beginning ends
If you are The Love
So whatcha got? ( That’s not part of one lol)
