Thanks Karl! Yeah, with the orange-to-red, it has a very ‘tempered’ look, doesn’t it. 
I’ve just ordered the patches, so buttons are the last thing!

Can you make a version with a completely white bachi symbol with a thin black line, and also have a thin black line between the white and orange? I’m not sure if it will be better but would be nice to compare.

BH, I do like the shade myself, but it never hurts to verify. (especially if I order 150)
I prefer the new one, if you add the black line in the center hexagon as well, and maybe fill in the tiny gaps where the bachis meet.

As one who was so into the gradient, I gotta say, the white is pretty nice. 
at first sight I thought wow okay I gotta admit that white version I could imagine to definitely work VERY well or even better if ONLY for the purpose of the currently discussed BUTTONS . . .
BUT the more I looked at both at the same time I got back to liking the shaded one better and even so for the purpose of a button too . . .
SO I stand by my earlier “wouldn’t change a thing” comment with eye candy regard to that last shaded version that was posted earlier
so I think and even for any and all purposes I guess the white version would be A okay and I would not be unhappy about it but that shaded one also got something special about it that I just don’t see on the white version that “pales” in comparison . . .
anyway though I should be happy enough about both of them being orange so those would both be awesome enough to me . . .
ooo I think a black version with the same fading to grey would be awesome for a future one both would look good though.
I like that last one. Am I seeing things or is there a gradient on the red background? Maybe make it a little more exaggerated so its easier to notice, otherwise it’s awesome.
BH: I know, it’s such a hard decision when both look rather good! I had showed Nitta san the shaded mon and solid white mon and he too preferred the white. So I think it’ll be swaying that direction. However, for the next patch, I would like to do something similar to your aviator jacket example. (Someone else would have to design it because my visual art skills leave something to be desired)

Do you mean a sharper contrast, like an edge between the two colors?

Well the last one is a tiny bit more clear. Maybe it is the contrast that is lacking since the colors are so similar.
It’s no big deal either way. I just figured if its going to be there, might as well make it obvious.
Here’s an extreme example for perspective.
Interesting, the contrast isn’t as great as it is in Coreldraw. Not sure which to trust.
Wow I haven’t heard the name Corel in forever. Nowadays everyone I know seems to be unanimously using Illustrator.

Cody: Haha! We’ve been using Corel things for… well, ever since Wordperfect for MS Dos. The Abbott’s are loyal customers! (though we did switch from Wordperfect to InDesign)
