BH: It certainly is. He cuts his hair once a year. When it just gets too hot in the summer for his head, he takes out his shears and cuts it all off himself. By wintertime, it all grows back, ready to warm his chin!

Surprising how much of a difference in warmth a little bit of hair makes on the face.
Papa has been doing this routine for… probably 35 years? Maybe more. My brother Luke has grown a full-on beard once, but now goes cleanshaven.
Perhaps it’s an emotional thing, but I still like my hair/“beard” (near-beard) cropped short. still couldn’t even imagine growing my hair long for a metal format. Could still happen though!
