Hey, so I just stumbled upon this site while looking up the lyrics for Yasaburo Bushi, and holy crap, this is amazing! They’ve got information on tons and tons of Japanese music, including lots of min’you, and they’ve even got lyrics and audio clips. It’s technically a shakuhachi site, but they’ve got lots of shamisen stuff too. I’d definitely suggest taking a look if you don’t already know about it.

Yup, I’ve been listed on the ISS’s site for years, but under koto only, (because Ron (the site founder) allows just one listing per person). I’ve been referring people there for ages - it’s a great resource, with even stuff more available to members (membership is pretty cheap, I think it’s still $10 per year…?)
