koto's ROKUDAN (not Tsugaru one) on shamisen

While I am waiting for Jamie’s song to develop, I decided to challenge myself.

This famous ROKUDAN (Rokudan no Shirabe in the 17th century) is for koto.
The piece is made from six columns, and there are exactly 52 beats in each column.

I was always interested in learning the piece, but this piece is so hard to play with music. And my friend got a shinobue (flute) score for Rokudan! We haven’t refined our playing technique yet, but it is very challenging.

I’m really trying to make my shamisen sound crisp and clear.
It is a good practice to concentrate my mind to each note…

Hey, I know that piece… Aki-san, I enjoyed your version of it.

Any chance I can get a hold of the music for that? The piece sounds like fun and i have a fue playing friend that would have a blast with it too!

I like it, very very good playing! I think you really get the spirit of the piece, omedetou!!
