Hey guys. I’ve been here for a while and it’s been a bit since I’ve last logged in and stuff. But I see all these new lessons. I’m use to there only being courses. So what exactly is the difference between the two, since they have different labels. Also shout out to my man kyle. He has the most swag on shamisen.

From my perspective, the Courses are all the songs and techniques based on Kyle’s Book. The Lessons content is from all of the Bachido instructors so there is other styles of music and different or new techniques not covered in Kyle’s book.
Many of us began with The courses and Kyle’s book and Took the Lessons after because it was released in this exact order on the website. But once you have a few basics, you can always choose a Lesson without taking all the Courses before. There is no mandatory order. Many people learned other instruments before so they would want to skip some parts. It depends mostly on how comfortable you feel with the basics and what you want to focus on.
If I miss something, I guess Kyle or someone else will write later on.
