Anyone know where I can get some Hanawa Chie CDs? I am looking EVERYWHERE…
Thanks for the help! I know she is also in a band called Hamanas and I ordered that CD ($45) but it hasn’t come and the seller still has not accepted my paypal payment (still pending). The seller did email me…but only once.
I can get her 2004 CD on the US Amazon website but it costs $140!!! CRAZY!
I am willing to pay $50 but that might be mu limit…unless it is signed by her, then I could go maybe $65 or $70.
I do have a nice Yoshida Brothers autographed CD, hehehehehe!!!

I have done some translation for some of you and Kiki.Unfortunately I have never talked to Chie Hanawa, but just giving it a try seems to be easy.
That would be AWESOME if you could ask her. I really want the physical CDs but if I can only get digital versions of the CDs, that is OK too…maybe her autograph on the CD if possible??? I REALLY want to buy her solo CD (titled “Soleil”) and her two “Hanamas” (band) CDs.

I got a reply on Hanawa chie’s CD, and it was from her manager.
It says the solo album is sold out and even in Japan, it is very hard to get one.
As for other available CDs, it is also hard to buy from abroad. The possible way is to someone buy in Japan and send somewhere abroad.
Sorry my explanation is not very good. And all what I can do is just up here. If it is possible, why not ask Bachido to do this for you.
As I do not have any direct contact to Chie Hanawa, it is not as easy as Kiki cd getting.
I found a web site to buy the kiki CD but it is in Japanese…do you know of a website in English?
Just e mail Kiki, in English is ok, I guess, and say you want their cd. You will be asked to pay via paypal. Kiki have realized the necessity to make English site some weeks ago and said they are planning to make English version.

Be patient, Neil. Kiki are probably doing all those management without a manager and must take some time but they are honestly doing their business. One on Bachido must have got Kiki’s CD. Who was it? Sorry I forgot the name. Surely Kiki got a contact and was happy with their popularity on Bachido.
I know…I just want the CD, hahahaha. I just bought The Yoshida Brothers album HISHOU. It is AMAZING!!! This is definitely their BEST album! Just straight, hard-core Shamisen!!!
Yes,yes, Hishou is great! The only recording of the Yoshidas I have is Hishou DVD. That’s amazingly great.
You know, the older brother at a live concert came up and did not start to play soon, let us wait, say I felt 30 minutes or so, may be actually five to ten minutes maybe shorter. He gets concentrated so hard right before starting to play. It must be such a hard procedure of starting to play(>_
