New Membership Account - Name ideas!

Firstly, I will say that nothing will change in your current membership level!

Hey everyone!

To help encourage and support Bachido members continue their shamisen training, I will be starting a weekly shamisen webinar! Each 15-minute webinar (in total, 1 hour/month) would include answering member-submitted questions and providing drills/techniques to practice every week. Just enough instruction to encourage exploration of the shamisen as much as we can!

This webinar would be part of a new, very affordable membership account, which the Boy Genius Luke Abbott has been currently constructing. I say again that it will be very affordable. Just a fraction of the cost of a regular, one hour shamisen lesson, and it will provide you with lots of instruction. If all is done well, this membership account will be a way to support your own shamisen practice, as well as a way to help support Bachido. Good stuff!

Right now, I’ve been thinking of a new membership title for this, I would like to ask you too! If you were to become this new member, what would you like it to be called? It would be along the lines of “Premium Account”, while being something more fitting to shamisen. Something like… Shamisen Enthusiast Membership?

If you were to join this, what kind of title would you like for your new membership?

that sounds really cool.
It would definitely help us beginners/intermediate to further deepen knowledge about techniques, different tunings, maintenance, caring,…
Maybe there’s space for easy/short songs (divided in chunks over the weeks) to play along or famous shamisen-riffs to learn.
About Naming: ‘Ganbatteneeee’-Membership?
I surely will saddle up!

Thanks Ale! Yes, I do believe that it will especially help beginners/intermediates.
OOOH!!! That’s a great idea about having a space for learning songs over weeks!! Yes, I like that a lot!! We’ll make that happen! :smiley:

Just a though here.

If you call it Premium Membership, people might expect to get ALL the lessons included in the package. I am saying this because guitar learning websites work this way.

Here a are a few suggestions for the name:

  • Hard Headed Member
  • I won’t quit Member
  • Never Give Up Member

I think that if you want to keep The already existing lessons separate from it, the following name could be a good one:

  • Enthusiastic Member

But in the end, I think you guys might prefer this one:
Goddamn Serious Member.

Thanks for your ideas, Jacinthe! (and yours too, Karl :wink: ) True, I’d rather call it something more unique than just “Premium Membership.” I was just meaning something that has more perks than the free membership. :slight_smile:
