Partition in Nitaboh

Hello Bachido !!!

I love the movie Nitaboh and especially the song of the blind woman (Tamana)
which is simple but so beautiful :o
Someone has the tablature of this song please ?

Happy new year

I think you mean that haunting melody which young Nitaboh hears while kicking back beneath a tree and which caused him to want to play Shamisen? Yes, yes. I have sent the transcription of that tune to many people over the years. It’s one of the most requested tabs. I believe the only reason it’s not available all the time here on the bachido website is probably just legal issues. Unfortunately I usually end up faxing a handwritten version or take a pic and sending it out so I don’t actually have a file I can send you. But if you write me a PM(Private message) and include your regular e mail address I’ll be happy to scribble it out again, snap a shot and send it your way!

Hi Kevin

Though not able to play it, would be nice for my collection XD
If it’s not too much trouble that is.

could I agree more with what Amanda just said?

Hey there Everyone! I have sent the tab for the tune from Nitaboh to several people who have requested it. If you haven’t recieved it yet, it means I don’t have your email address. You can send me a PM over bachido mail and let me know and I will be happy to get a copy to you.

Bachi On!

Not at all. In fact some people have been asking about this and I discovered it had been deleted over here on this end. So this saves me a bit of trouble! Thanks!

Stupid me. I wrote it down myself instead of searching for it in the Bachido Forum. Should have known better!

Good thing to know it doesn’t differ (much).

Martina, why are you saying it is stupid to write down a piece by yourself? I’d consider this as an opportunity to earn some skills. Also, if you say it doesn’t differ much, it means you did a great job!

I agree about the experience credits. But I could have used the time to transcribe another song instead to contribute to the community.
