Pre-Taikai Bachido rehearsal in Tokyo area??

I was thinking that it would be nice to meet some Bachido members living in or near Tokyo area… I have been here for some time and “only” met Kevin in Misawa…I am proposing a pre-Taikai Bachido rehearsal… I know everybody practices Kita no Hibiki so hard now and it can be a bit frustrating and lonely practice at times, so getting together and practice could be a good idea??? we might help each other and bring the piece and our practice time to new levels??? I think that the main disadvantage Bachido team has towards the other teams is not being able to practice together till the very last moment
…but there are some of us that could meet, like the California bunch who am sure are doing some practice together and perhaps here in Tokyo a few members could meet and practice…I myself will probably not be able to go to Aomori, (well there still is time for applications, the end of the month right.?) but would like to meet and play with other Bachido members…

Let me know if there there are people interested and willing to meet up!

I believe the deadline has recently been set at March 10, not the end of the month.

That’s a good idea! Personally, I will be up in Sapporo before the tour starts, but I’d heartily recommend folks getting together beforehand and meet. Just make sure everyone knows when/where to meet up! :wink:

As Linda said, the deadline is March 10th. Because Tomoko san is getting close to the due date, they almost prefer the deadline to be even sooner. So please decide soon. :slight_smile:

Ah! There’s the Bachido festival in Sapporo! If you can only go to one event, I would root for you going to there, as it’s the world’s first international shamisen festival. :slight_smile: Plus, you can enter the Bachido taikai and play a raga-style piece! :slight_smile:
