Taikai is done!

Firstly I must appologise I’m starting a new topic rather than using my old post. For some reason i have trouble adding a new thread on the previous post ( as soon as I start typing, message window disappear, wonder if anyone else is experience the same…) Anyway, that’s why I’m posting a new topic.

I had a trouble downloading the vido on Ustream today, so missed out watching live ( just had a brief conversation with Karl, Rachal and Linda  ), but was successful to download the recorded videos.

Team Bachido did a fablous job!!! I was so amazed to see how well everyone learnt their own part and played that speed!! Not many people in the audience knew that Team Bachido had only a few days to practice as a group, otherwise everyone practice on their own untill few days before the taikai!

I was almost teary when wathching the video, thinking that I wish i was there, also really touching to see how the bachido community grew - when I joined here, there were only 20 members or so, now a few hundreds!!!

Taikai 2013 is now finished, who’s ready for 2014???

Oh, and daisuke who hosted Ustream on air this year said hello to everyone on Bachido!!

It was really great! My goal was to watch Team Bachido and it was awesome! I fell asleep during the acompaniments  Watching the A-class as I write this.

If I’m not mistaken Team Bachido got the biggest applause from the audience!

almost as exciting as watching live or even being there . . .

(about 30 minutes into watching the B class competition)

unfortunately my internet access is acting up again somewhat too and the downloader plugin can’t manage to download the clip from this site . . . well just in case you would find it legal and okay to share the clips for download that would be awesome too . . .

Bachido! That was awesome . . .

(at about 37 minutes into the clip)

Thanks for posting that, BH - I spent several hours last night trying to watch the live stream, but it never worked for me.

Congratulations to everyone who competed - you sounded great and represented!
I have to admit, I jumped right to the 37 minute mark, so I’ll go back and watch the rest now…

Great job, all!! I stayed up late and watch all of you - the first day invidividuals and Team Bachido and Kevin on the second day. The group looked and sounded terrific! And then I figured, what the heck, it’s only at 3am, may as well stay up for the awards. (I particularly enjoyed that the trophy was handed to/received by blond, female, gaijin Anne! [lol) ).

And yes, Karl, I do think that Team Bachido got the best audience response.

And don’t forget he also said “Thank you very much” to Anne when she was handed the trophy.

Wonderful experience I had !!! Thanks all)^o^(

Ah yes!! Thanks for recording this!
Still got to see it (Phew!!)

And Great job everyone!!! Waiting forward to seeing the blogcasts :stuck_out_tongue:

Guys that was amazing! It sounded so full of life! Well done Team Bachido, you really deserved to place
