Oh, forgive the 国際三味線協会 kanji. Haven’t been updated.
You know, I take it back. I think I like International Hogaku Community best. Those two in the bottom right, though, almost got me.
Lol. Cracked up when I saw. “Bro!”
Haha! Me too! (Bro!)
Hm, but after seeing it. I personally like “International Hogaku Community” and “Global Hogaku Community” the most. Kind of a toss up. International Hogaku Community looks so perfectly centered. But, then Global Hogaku Community is shorter and easier to say. BUT THEN “BRO!” IS EVEN EASIER TO SAY!
theres a lack of innuendo in here, so I will submit this:
“Bachido - Feel, Play and Grow”
“Bachido - Feel, Play and Grow”
Perhaps I am slightly perverted but…
don’t worry Karl it’s meant to be sexual
don’t worry Karl it’s meant to be sexual
Good. I’ll just go assemble my sao…
Okaaaay bros…
In other nudes… I meant news, I like International Hogaku Community as well. Somehow, international feels more appropriate for this. When I think of Global… I dunno, somehow economics comes to mind.
Okay, I think we may be reaching a wiener!.. I meant, winner! Those in favor/disfavor, make your voice heard!
Aye. I’m in favor of International Hogaku Community. Especially since I’ll win.
EDIT: “Bro!” is my second choice.
If we really think we can get more japanese instrument “subforums” here (though at that point shamisen is the subforum :P) then Yeah
International Hogaku Community sounds legit
It’s not a steering wheel.
Stick with it.
Sticking with it.
Stick it to the man.
Picky Stix.
Sticky fingers.
Sticky notes.
Sticks and Stones.
?
some to be taken more serious than others.
But for the most part I’ll say I like International Hogaku Community the most too.
Kyle, you should totally reshape the circle to the shape of a dou.
I dig it!
Kyle, you should totally reshape the circle to the shape of a dou.
Actually I provided a couple of mockups for that in the thread where we made it. Despite the good thought, it didn’t turn out as good.
Kyle: the translation of community 公共 (kou kyo)is not proper.
It could be 協会(kyoh kai).
Other translation is well done.So 国際邦楽協会。
But still 協会 sounds a bit stiff.
How about 国際邦楽談話室? 談話室(dannwa shitsu)means LOUNGE where everyone can talk anything.
Yes, I like it 国際邦楽談話室!
Kyoko, what timing! Nitta san wrote me a few hours ago, explaining that kyoukai would be more appropriate koukyou.
I do really like community, and think it would be acceptable for having “community” for the english and kyoukai for the kanji.
Oh yes, Kyle! It is morning Internet check hour in Japan. Many of us on business at the desk. And for me it is time to consider how to manage to gain some time to practice the Shamisen in between classes and chores.
I think 協会 is appropriate enough(^o^)
