Kyle asked (secretly) if I could do something more badass, something inspire respect in the street (when you are in front of bikers or else…we never know)
SO !! I created an alternative crest (kamon) of Bachido but with 5 bachis instead of 3 because it’s Sakura Bachi Community (crew?gang?) Crest

It’s very nice, the dot-lines remind me of the constellation chart thing you made for the inside cover of Stellar. 
The thing I wonder is, can we have multiple mon?
When we made the current mon, I thought other instrument sections could have similar yet seperate mon. In the end, the group thought that having multiple mon would be confusing and better to just associate with one. Thus, we did so.
Of course, that was the consensus last year. Have opinions changed on that? I’m open to anything.

I am not afraid of that I mean I think yeah sure this would be absolutely okay as a community crew sign I mean it would not deter others from the respect bachido members command on the streets without regard to what they are wearing but if the aim is to create an artwork that is sort of fierce IN AND OF ITSELF I think or hope (I am not the creative one here) that it could be even more badass looking for sure . . .
Yeah it’s totally possible to do other mon !
In fact one can be done with Koma, Tenjin maybe even with a neo…
but that’s a lot of work, maybe we should talk about it before to do anything.

but instead of stars (point) linked together it’s here a pistil…that what happened with minimalism : a star could also be a pistil

it shouldn’t be any more ‘badass’ than the current one. Papa, who’s usually impartial about designs, didn’t care for it because the three bachi looks sharp and militaristic. Thus, intimidating. I like the simplicity of the three bachi, but can understand how it’d seem… not the most welcoming. (not to mention similar to the toxic symbol)
I think the current mon is a good choice of intensity, but any other mon shouldn’t be any harsher than that. If anything, I think floral is nice way to balance.

well everything looks nice here don’t get me wrong I was just under the impression Kyle wanted a battle mon like a coat of arms of bachido . . . would be sort of funny too . . .

I say we call it. Got a solid line-up of contributions. I feel deadlines work great for keeping people creatively reigned in. Besides, now comes the hard part; deciding which one will be the winner! Just as well, we can always hold another contest~
That being said, having a constant flow of artwork from the community would be ~awesome~! Gotta admit, I’m stoked with the turn out of this event. Well done for kicking this off, Kyle!

Honestly, great work by everyone! As Adrian just said, a real flow got going which I’m really stoked about. It’s something the community got to enjoy and participate in together as a group, even just as observing. Creatively inspiring each other is a great thing. I think we’ll definitely have more!
Yes, the hard part… deciding a winner. I say everyone vote on it at Chris’s poll on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/groups/bachido/) and we’ll make a final decision early next week! I’m playing a wedding and am super busy in the next few days and so gonna need some time.
