Good luck everyone ! As I don’t have facebook it will be a surprise
Well Mr. Bunny, this is just a sign that you should have a Facebook account.
As I always say, if my father has a facebook account, then nobody has a reason not to have one. (And my father like a hermit!)
So your father is a cyber hermit
I would like to thank once again all of you for your positive comments on my designs! It gave me motivation to participate to an other t-shirt contest here :
If you want to help my design to be printed it would be awesome !
Hahahaha!! Now that is funny. Voted.
Do you recommend http://www.designbyhumans.com/ for shirt printing? I’m looking for a more affordable shop than spreadshirt.
TJ told me about http://teespring.com/, which is intriguing as it’s similar to kickstarter. Basically, people ‘reserve’ their shirt and when enough reservations come in, it’s printed and sent (which alleviates the whole overstocking problem)
Haha, ‘Legs Paul’…made my day =)
So you suggest giving my Les Paul a female name…hmmm…
Kyle, my father always refused to use computers, but smartphones & Facebook got him hooked…well 1:0 for technology I guess.
Thank you
Design for humans is something different , you can’t print your own design, people have to vote for it to be printed.
The cost of printing is directly linked with the technique you use to print and the technique is relative to the number of copies you want and the number of colors.( I think you are already aware about it)
So the main problem is the upfront costs, so in a way this kind of service is appealing …in the other way the final price and what you get from it is really not a lot.
With DIY silkscreen material you could print t-shirt on demand or have a little stock, have a low cost production and sell them easily 5/7 $ cheaper.
So in one hand there is service and on the other one a project with financial implications (but not huge )
I really don’t have the answer, even for myself. I think that if I win 2/3 contests I will invest in material to make some silk screen printing (I already printed some books with techniques a few years ago).
Oh ! It’s make think that there was an easy silkscreen printing system which was made in Japan : Gocco printing (or something like that). At the beginning it was created to print postcards but a lot of people used it to print clothes.
Few years ago an american brand commercialized something similar but bigger “U-du” I think…but I am not sure.
Alessandro, let me know when you will find “her” a name
Cute!
At long last, we have a winner for the Bachido nuSwag Challenge! Congratulations to Alessandro for his epic design of the tenjin in front of a flowery pink circle! (Man, it sure doesn’t sound as legit when written out)
Many thanks to everyone who contributed to the challenge. It was a lot of fun! I know more of the designs can/will be used when we look into having stickers affordably made.
For now, time to get this design on some shirts!
Bachi on!!
Can’t wait to get mine.
I love that one except for the color black as for the writing there . . .
I would wear this on a kimono ^.^ or a t-shirt or anything really. Love the colours. I would prefer a tiny edit of the words getting moved down a touch so it doesnt have the bottom of the sao through it. Other then that its awesome!
Ohhh my…
I just came back from a wonderful 2 week-trip through Japan.
While being there I got informed about the outcome of the
Design-Challenge. With so many great entries I couldn’t believe my design finally did it. It seemed all so surreal esp. the video-message from Kyle (can anybody pinch me?).
I owe many thanks to this great community with all of it’s inspirational inputs.
I hope I can give you back as much as I can.
みなさん, ありがとうございました!
Ale
