^^ i know its probably been mentioned before, But i am on here almost 24/7 and ive been noticing loads more members are coming on, and there for more stuff posted
This is extremely awesome
Kyle think you could get the forum into bulletins or somthing ? finding it hard to find everything i posted on haha
The way we have it now is very nice but its abit cluttered at the moment
I think we have a good enough bachido member rate to increase it to a format like this ( Discussion Forums - Banjo Hangout ) as an example, all the different sections labeled like that in a nice and easy, and abit more tidy forum.
aswell as the picture uploading feature,
Wondering what your input is on this, I love bachido and I cant wait to see it grow even more
Iām not very well educated on the various brands. Iām rather partial to my old StewMac kit banjo that I bought used at a music store about 15 years ago.
Nice ^.^ i have 2 banjos i made ( Syrian branded by myself in luminessant paint) and my long necks, My favorite would be the Merlin longneck banjo (it has a metal neck! its goregous) very rare aswell
and it sounds lovely
san jose is too hot D:! lolz
i lived in lakeside, national city, balboa, chula vista, victorville, and el cajon ish areas all my life⦠victorville was way far up northern california though haha
Also kyle can you ask how papa bear is for me? ^^ iāve been considering getting a 4.2ft 7 hole sideblown bamboo flute for awhile now, Think you could ask him how it would do in the cold weather of england if it was made with bambusa multiplex bamboo of florida?
iām thinking since its grown in florida it may not last as long in the cold/ rainy weather of england or wales⦠whereas if i were to use a scottish bamboo it may last longer⦠but iām not sure entirely.
So to expand the subject let me share my user experience of bachido.com. Iāll put numbers for reference if anyone wants to argue or comment.
Itās just my opinion, itās perfectly fine to disagree on anything I write here.
We all know bachido.com is a great resource. I wonāt dig into that.
Learning center:
Everything is great. Well, maybe it could be helpful if popup videos (where Kyle plays faster) would loop, just like the ānormal speedā ones do.
Some points on forum:
2) No āsignaturesā, animated avatars, animated smileys etc. Hell yeah!
3) Since it is a fixed page width, I think forum categories on the right side is a waste of space while viewing a thread. It could be somewhere below in a single line expanding list or a sliding tab.
4) Quotes need to mention the author of the quote.
5) Maybe buttons for bold and italic could be helpful
6) Something else that I have forgotten.
Local Network
7) Well, what can I say. Havenāt tried anything from there. āSadly, youāre the only member within 400 miles of your townā (:foreveralone.jpg:)

8) Front picture. Thatās the strangest person with shamisen Iāve ever seen. And the bird statuette completes the picture.
K H! Thanks for sharing your experience. These are great points!
Luke, is that possible to do for a pop-up vid?
No āsignaturesā, animated avatars, animated smileys etc. Hell yeah!
Frankly, arenāt we all tired of forums where one userās signature is a 800x600 picture of the Dat Ass meme?
I guess I canāt answer to the rest of them, as thatās in Lukeās field of expertise.

Last month, we got an order from a lady in Russia, so donāt lose hope! Also, at some point, we can hopefully make Bachido more interactive, like regular video chats per Stevās suggestion.

Ah, thatās Medusirena, the official Bachido Model! She sent me several (with colored backgrounds) and that one seemed the best, as the background was white.
The idea was to have more of us members there.
Right! (Or on the front page) I never woulda thought itād be this difficult to get submittions from other members!
I agree that the layout could be improved so it doesnāt look like just a randomly inserted image.
It did seem to fit better before Luke had made the font size smaller. Indeed, now it looks a little random. Iāll make it bigger after completing todayās forum sweep.
hmm, a section for group bachido pictures and meets etc would be awesome ^^
a Gallery section for pics of you and your shamisen.
a randomly liked and selected pic gets showed around on the 1st page if it gets enough comments or something ^.^ dunno
would keep things interesting, seeing you (Kyle abbott) on the 1st page⦠then next i refresh page i see Kevin⦠then lets say, KH, then Luke,
Would it be also possible for on your profile to be able to upload a few pictures?
Right! (Or on the front page) I never woulda thought itād be this difficult to get submittions from other members!
Kyle, many of us already have a profile pic of ourselves with our
shamisen. Canāt you just āliftā our pics from the profile and post them to that page???
I think the profile pages are looking good and are structured informatively with regard to the new display of started forum topics, other topics and local community activities . . . good work . . .
currently also Exploring the Bachido Local Communities Map . . . awesome . . . awesome . . . so Iād say this is ādoneā too then good options now for member profile browsing to be convenient and fun . . .
since the major forum update a while ago the external links are opening in the same window again I would prefer them opening in a new window by default so I donāt have to right click on them and select from the context menu for new tab all the time . . .

True ive noticed that aswell, atleast with newer posts.
If you are using Chrome you can hold down CTRL and click to open a new tab. Just a heads up. This way you can open up a lot of threads and then just go through them. I think there should be a similar function in other browsers. When you are done you can mash CTRL-W and you will remove them one by one.
